DESCRIPTION

FR Presentations is a visual communications agency with clients which include some of the most recognizable brands in the world. We are looking for a creative intern who is a good problem solver to work collaboratively with our team on real projects for our impressive portfolio of clients and our agency.

This is a part-time, paid position and you will be working from our office in Bethesda, Maryland, which is located 2 blocks from the Bethesda metro.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Graphic Design Interns at FR Presentations work on a wide range of graphics projects and participate in every aspect of the process from photo sourcing, to graphic design, to content layout to proofreading. The ability to collaborate, listen and incorporate other people’s ideas and feedback is essential. While you will receive direction and oversight throughout your time with us, we expect our interns to come to us with strong software skills and a thirst to expand their skill set both in our office and on their own time,

Our goal is to provide you with valuable on-the-job training that will build your resume and portfolio with substantive real project experience. You will be mentored and receive instruction and coaching for the projects you participate in.

FR Presentation interns build real, quantifiable experiences while they’re here, and are expected to meet the professional standards of any FR Presentations employee.

WHAT IT TAKES

• A strong foundation in graphic design fundamentals including sensitivity to typography, color, and composition
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to translate concepts and information into visual design
• Attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• A great can-do attitude and a desire to learn. Financial Roadshow interns can get a tremendous amount out of their time here, and we look for people who are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to develop their skills and perspective
